You can stack two rebates: the Federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program (an upfront discount applied at install) and the WA Residential Battery Scheme (capped at $1,300 for Synergy customers, $3,800 for Horizon Power customers). Eligible households can also access a no-interest loan up to $10,000.

No, but you do need solar going in either alongside the battery or already on the roof for the Federal rebate to apply. A battery without solar is technically possible but it’s significantly less cost-effective because you’re charging it from grid energy you’ve paid full retail for.

If you already have solar, we can retrofit a battery without disturbing your existing system. If you don’t, we’ll quote both together as a single integrated install.

The batteries we install typically come with a 10-year warranty and a guaranteed minimum capacity retention over that period (usually around 70 to 80 percent of original capacity by year ten). Real-world lifespan depends on how the battery is used, the depth of discharge, and the conditions it’s installed in.

It depends on the battery and the way it’s wired. Some batteries are set up for backup, which means they will keep selected circuits running during a grid outage. Others are set up purely for self-consumption and do not provide backup.
